Like the other non randori kata, ju no kata, helps provide an understanding of some of the principals of judo. In Japan this kata is often performed by women and is often mistaken as a kata solely for women. In addition, done properly ju no kata is a great excercise routine which aids the suppleness of the back, shoulders and neck.
